The 12 months of 2017 have come and gone, leaving us just days away from the biggest countdown of the year. So as you dust off your finest party wear and head out for some last minute shopping, you’re probably also figuring out your NYE plans. With so many great events in Toronto and the TTC  offering FREE rides from 7 PM on December 31st to 7 AM on January 1st,  you won’t run out of options. Start your night off with a feast before the fireworks at Bangkok Garden, and indulge in our $35 prix-fixe dinner (or $40 with a glass of champagne). But after your trip to Thailand, where will your night take you? Here are our top picks:

1.       For the Fond of Fireworks: Take a short walk from Bangkok Garden down to Nathan Phillips Square for their show. Expect performances and live music by local talent including OBUXUM, Classic Roots & Nimkii Osawamick, Nino Brown, and Jessy Lanza. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season and celebrate when the clock strikes midnight with a colourful display of fireworks!

2.       Stick to Skating: Pirouette your way into 2018 with a Skating Party at the Harbourfront, just a short subway ride away! Lace up those skates, bundle up, and stop by the Natrel Rink for some live music and a chance to show off  your skills. Read more here.

3.       Single? Ready to Mingle: Spend the magical evening with other singles in the city, at  “A Night in Thailand”. We’re hosting a special private event which includes great eats, champagne toast, a DJ and more! Read more and get your tickets here.

Whatever you decide to do to wave goodbye to 2017, we wish you a very merry and safe holiday season and a Happy New Year!
