Loy Krathong, a traditional Thai Festival known as the Festival of Lights, takes place annually on the evening of the twelfth lunar month and the waters around the country become alive with candlelight, while sky lanterns light up the sky. The festival pays respect to the Goddess of Water by showing gratitude for bountiful water, and asking for forgiveness, while also being a time to get rid of past misfortunes, and asking for luck in the future.
To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a Festival of Lights! Explore Bangkok’s exciting street food scene during this celebration of the senses, right in the heart of downtown Toronto!
